Isenberg Honors Council realizes that making connections and building bonds, both professionally and personally, is critical in the advancement of our futures. Each semester, IHC looks to network with UMASS alumni as well as other successful business executives.

Networking Panel:

Each semester IHC organizes a Networking Panel of prominent business figures and distinguished alumni. The event gives IHC members the opportunity to make high profile contacts and hear success stories first hand.

The event consists of:

• Catered dinner for Panel members and IHC executive board.
• Presentation in Flavin open to university. Panel members share advice, experience, and industry perspective.
• Q&A Session
• Refreshments and Networking

Networking Trip:

IHC believes in giving members the opportunity to experience a variety of industries in order to facilitate solidified and educated decisions that will fuel your career. IHC plans an overnight Networking Trip to Boston in the fall and NY in the spring. We meet top management at their corporate headquarters, make key contacts, and experience “a day in the life” of each company. The trip is paid for largely by the funds we raise with an average cost of $10/person.

Internship Panel:

IHC tries to give our members advantages when it comes to finding an internship of job. This event consists of about five companies that recruit at UMASS with a former intern and a recruiter representing each. The companies are in a variety of different industries so that members can hear what it is like to in all different areas of business. Students are able to listen to the panelists, then talk one on one with recruiters.
